1 1/4 cups or 170gms of All Purpose Flour/ Maida
2 tsp baking powder
3/4 cup cocoa powder (I used the cadbury cocoa powder)
1 1/4 cup Demarara Sugar
130 grams butter
1 tsp vanilla essence
3/4 cup of milk
100 grams walnuts.. peeled and chopped (optional)
Dry mixture: Mix the first 4 items in a bowl.
Wet Mixture : Rest of the items to be mixed separately in a bowl
Add the wet ingredients to the dry one gradually and make sure no lumps are left.
Place butter paper on the bottom of the tin and grease with butter along the sides and on the paper as well.
Bake it for 40 mins on low rack at 200'c
For Icing Mix 30 gms of butter with 100gms of icing sugar. Make a cone from a plastic sheet (Or use baking instruments available in the market) and start icing .
